Rainier Chorale is based in Kent,
Washington, and was established in 1983. The group presently has
approximately 75 active members. The Chorale is a non-profit
organization (501(c)3), led by a Board of Directors elected by
the general membership. Ticket sales, grants, group fundraisers,
donations from public and private sources, and monthly membership
dues fund the Chorale program.

pursuing excellence in the performance of choral music, providing a
challenging creative outlet for its members, and producing enjoyable
musical experiences for its audiences.

Rainier Chorale values many styles of
music, and performs a variety of concerts, drawing from works by sacred,
secular, classical and popular composers.
Artistic Director
Ron Bayer currently directs Rainier Chorale. He also conducts
choirs and teaches music at Green River Community College in Auburn. He
holds a Master of Music from the University of Illinois, and serves on
the Board of Directors of the Washington Music Educators Association.
Concerts
Rainier Chorale presents three concerts
each season, with two performances of each concert, a Saturday evening and
a Sunday matinee.
Winter: Holiday Concert in December
Spring: Masterworks Concert in March or April
Summer: Pops Concert in June
The concerts are held at various venues throughout the Kent, Renton, and
Auburn area.
